It is essential when you apply for the jobs, particularly in this time of AI-developed applications, that you write in your own voice and your own style, which will bring out passion for the projects you have completed and the results you have achieved. How long does the process take?

The review currently operates Monday to Thursday and you will receive an email with written feedback within 24 hours.
The CV upgrade typically takes about 90 minutes in total. Traditionally with a conversation up front which might last about an hour.
The CV and cover letter transformation typically takes about two hours in total excluding the time the consultant takes to do the edits and rewrites. Once again this starts with a conversation upfront, which tends to be about an hour long. The individual then goes away, makes the edits required, and comes back for further calls as needed.
For the complete job application support service this takes as much time as needed. First of all we work together to prepare the application documents. Then hopefully you're invited to interview and for each stage of the interview process we will do a deep dive into what the role is about, what the recruiter is looking for, and how to frame your answers.

For each package this question very much depends upon the quality of the document or documents that you are starting with.

Certainly. Whilst IDCV wants to cater for this market and is well placed to manage the language requirements, acronyms, and types of projects and contracts, the basic rules of applying for a job, of writing CV and a cover letter remain the same whatever role you apply for in whatever industry.

Can't I just do all this on AI for free?

Of course you can upload your CV to AI and have it rewrite it for you. It will do just that but nothing more. Recruiters see these AI written CV's all the time and can spot them a mile off. Its then up to the Recruiter to determine their own thoughts on AI written CV's.AI can also only rework what you already have on your draft version. If you have a weak CV to start with then you will end up with a better written, yet still weak CV. What IDCV offers is a deep understanding of what recruiters are looking for in every job they aim to fill. We are then able to rebuild your CV/application in response to that need. We will draw out your expertise and determine what to keep in Vs what to leave out. It is not a beautifully written CV and Cover Letter that lands you the interview, but the content and the way that information is crafted and sold to the recruitment team.

I am a consultant. How do I get more consulting opportunities?

The process of securing these may be different to applying for a job. However it still requires a strong CV and application.
