IDCV — Terms of Business

These terms apply to all services provided by IDCV, a trading name of Brave Careers Limited
(Company No. 17288961), registered in England and Wales. By purchasing a service, you confirm
that you have read and agree to these terms.

1. The coaching relationship
IDCV provides expert career coaching, CV guidance, and application support for senior
professionals. The process works best when both parties are fully committed to it. You are
responsible for your own decisions, your own documents, and the actions you take as a result of
coaching.
IDCV does not write CVs, cover letters, or any other documents on your behalf. Every document
produced through the coaching process is written by you, in your own words. IDCV's role is to
direct, challenge, and guide. To get the most from the process, you are expected to engage
honestly, complete work between sessions, and participate fully.

2. What IDCV cannot guarantee
IDCV will give you expert guidance and honest feedback. We cannot guarantee that any
application will result in an interview or job offer. The outcome of any application depends on
factors entirely outside our control, including the decisions of the hiring organisation and the
volume of competition for the role.

3. Schedule and fees
Payment is due in full at the time of booking. All prices are in GBP. Booked rates will not change
once a package is confirmed. Future packages may be subject to updated pricing agreed at the
time of booking.

4. Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds
If you need to reschedule a session, please give at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with
less than 24 hours' notice may be forfeited at IDCV's discretion.
If you wish to cancel your package before your first session has taken place, you may request a full
refund within 7 days of purchase. Once your first session has taken place, no refund will be issued,
as the coaching process has begun and IDCV's time has been committed.
The Quick Review is non-refundable once written feedback has been delivered.

5. Confidentiality
Everything you share with IDCV is treated in strict confidence. Your CV, cover letters, and any
personal information you provide will not be shared with any third party without your explicit written
consent.With your permission, anonymised and unattributable feedback may be used for marketing
purposes. Your name or any identifying details will never be used without your explicit consent.

6. Data privacy and storage
IDCV may collect and store personal data, including your name, contact information, CV, and
session-related communications, solely to deliver the service you have purchased.

Your data may be stored on third-party platforms including Paperbell, Stripe, and Tally. IDCV will
take reasonable steps to ensure these platforms maintain appropriate security standards.
​
Your data will be retained for 12 months after the conclusion of your coaching engagement, then
securely deleted unless retention is required by law.
​
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time.
Requests should be sent to chris@intdevcv.com. IDCV will respond in accordance with applicable
law, including UK GDPR.

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, IDCV will notify you without
undue delay.
​
7. Use of AI tools
IDCV may use AI-powered tools to support the delivery of services, including for note-taking,
transcription, and administrative tasks. AI-generated content is always reviewed before use. IDCV
remains solely responsible for all coaching services.
Your personal information and session content will not be shared with publicly accessible AI tools
without your prior consent, and will never be used to train or improve any AI model.

8. Intellectual property
All documents you produce during the coaching process belong to you. IDCV retains no rights over
your CV, cover letter, or any other materials you create.
​
9. Termination
Either party may end the coaching relationship at any time. Fees for sessions already delivered
remain due upon termination.
10. Limitation of liability
IDCV's total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. IDCV is not
liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of earnings or loss of opportunity arising
from the outcome of any job application.

11. Governing lawThese terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the
exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
​
12. Entire agreement
These terms represent the complete understanding between IDCV and the client and supersede all
prior representations. Any amendments must be agreed in writing.
​
13. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions
continue in full effect.
